  15. QuickNS searches your Nodelist for a specified strings reasonably fast, at
  16. least a lot faster than all other programs I've seen. On my old 7.14 MHz
  17. A500, it searched NODELIST.323 in 1:30 minutes. The program also features
  18. three different output modes and can search only a specified Zone, Net,
  19. Region or Hub-area in the nodelists.

  21. You can specify your default options and nodelists to search with an
  22. environment variable.

  24. Changes in version 1.1:

  26.  - Now uses asynchronous I/O. 20% speed increase on my A500.

  28.  - No longer causes Enforcer hits if the QUICKNS_OPTS variable wasn't
  29.    set and no nodelists were specified an the command line
