QuickNS - Quick Nodelist Search 1.1
=====================================================================
Long Description:
QuickNS searches your Nodelist for a specified strings reasonably fast, at
least a lot faster than all other programs I've seen. On my old 7.14 MHz
A500, it searched NODELIST.323 in 1:30 minutes. The program also features
three different output modes and can search only a specified Zone, Net,
Region or Hub-area in the nodelists.
You can specify your default options and nodelists to search with an
environment variable.
Changes in version 1.1:
- Now uses asynchronous I/O. 20% speed increase on my A500.
- No longer causes Enforcer hits if the QUICKNS_OPTS variable wasn't
set and no nodelists were specified an the command line
- No longer prints trailing spaces in FULL mode
QuickNS is released as FreeWare.
